Hollow cast. We cast our KBs with pure steel into a hollow cast—the traditional Russian way! Hollow cast KBs keep the weight distribution closer to the handle, which balances the KB and makes it more efficient to lift, safer, and easier on your wrists. It also shows you completely what the bell is made of—as cheaper KBs can often be filled with cheaper substances.
